Got Stress? I've found the cure!

Yup, that pretty much sums it up :) I first saw this stress reduction kit paper in my Dad's garage and thought it was pretty funny.  Never thought that one day it'd actually seem logical, haha!
Just feeling a little stressed and frustrated today.  I know I should have more patience with my son than I do, but sometimes (a lot of times!) I don't know how to keep it under control and always have such a loving, kind demeanour.  I feel bad sometimes for not being as nice as I should, but there are those days where I just need a break--know what I mean?
My husband works VERY long days and he is pretty drained by his job.  He described it to me this morning that he feels like a robot, doing the exact same thing every day.  Now, I don't feel like a robot, but there are days where I wish we could just switch spots with him for a day or two and I could go to work for him, and he could be the stay at home dad.  I see so many other stay at home moms out there (with at least 2 or 3 more kids than me) that just seem to always have it all together.  I know things ALWAYS look different from the outside, but I'd like to just steal some of their patience and organization.
I'm SO excited for this new little girl joining out family soon, but I am also so scared!!  If I can hardly handle one child at times, how will I deal with two?  Anyone else have these fears?  Was it as hard as you imagined after you had your second?
Well, there's my rant for the day.  Have a great rest of the day! If you don't hear from me soon, it may be due to the stress reduction kit.

  1. I totally felt that way before I had my second. I couldn't even imagine going in a grocery store with two kids. For me, the transition from one to two kids was harder than from two to three. Having a good sling to rely on helps immensely. I don't know how I would do it without one. Definitely know the feeling of not being patient enough with my kids. I finally have a groove that...mostly works and keeps me not too stressed out, which is when I start going off on my kids. You can do it! Can't say I've ever prayed for patience with more fervor than I have since having my second kiddo. Good luck!
